Our History
Since GWK Klebetechnik GmbH was founded in 1999, we have enjoyed continuous positive development. We also have our customers and business partners to thank for this. In recent years, we have been able to develop into one of the leading companies in the field of bonding technology.
Our company consists of a young, highly motivated team that embodies traditional virtues such as reliability, quality awareness and environmental responsibility.
The permanent modernisation of our machinery and the constant optimisation of our workflows and production processes guarantee our consistently high quality standard. Ultimately, the high quality of our products is also the result of our experience in the field of adhesive technology and the processing of films.
1999
Foundation of GWK Klebetechnik as a trading company.
2002
Relocation to Wörthstraße with a storage capacity of 2,000 m².
2004
Ahmad Katiela becomes sole managing partner
Establishment and expansion of our own production line
Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
2005
Investment and expansion in the converting sector.
2006
Foundation of a sales office in the USA.
2007
New construction of the current company headquarters (3,200 m²) in Untengönrather Straße, investment sum 5.5 million euros (move in December).
2008
Our team grows to 35 employees. Changeover to an ERP system.
2009/10
New investment in a rotary punching machine in 2010 for precision punched parts, approx. 500,000 euros.
Acquisition of three new production systems with the lowest tolerances for the high-end sector.
2011
Development of a paperless management system in accordance with the standard requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949.
2016/17
Construction of a new 800 m² warehouse building.
2017
Conversion ISO/TS 16949 to IATF 16949:2016.
2022
Sale of GWK - Klebetechnik GmbH to PRR Beteiligungsholding GmbH, Wuppertal.
2024
GWK Klebetechnik GmbH celebrates its 25th anniversary with customers and suppliers in July.
